Registration

Before you register, please ensure you have read the Clubs Rules & Regs and Risk Assessment.

To become a member of the Lutterworth Harriers Running Club please complete this membership and medical questionaire.

When your membership is approved, you will be invited by a member of the Committee to join the Clubs Spond service.

 Spond is a free App used to send communications regarding the Clubs activities, register and confirm attendance for sessions each week.

 

Running ability

Lutterworth Harriers is an inclusive club with mixed abilities. Each week the coaches will focus on different types of training such as circuit training, tempo runs, hills, short and long term runs.

In order to place you in the correct group, please select which running ability option on the form best describes you.

 

Medical information

Excercise programmes are designed to improve cardiovascular (heart and lungs) fitness, muscle strength and endurance as well as flexibility.

Please note excercise programmes contain certain risks such as muscle strains, joint sprains, aches, pains  and general discomfort from parts of the body not used to excercise.

If you answer 'Yes' to any of the Medical questions:

You acknowledge that you are taking responsibility to ensure you have sought medical advice and you have confirmation from a medical expert you are fit enough to participate in such physical activities.

If you answered 'No' to all questions:

You acknowledge that you are taking responsibility for the accuracy of your replies and the decision that you are physically fit enough to participate in activities that may include aerobic, anaerobic, flexibility, stability, resistance, muscular strength and endurance exercise.

If at any time during the exercise programme you feel pain, discomfort or you feel unwell you must stop and inform the coach immediately.

Running ability - I'd like to join the Couch To 5K Programme
Running ability - I usually run 5K between 36mins and 45mins
Running ability - I usually run 5K between 32mins and 35mins
Running ability - I usually run 5K between 28mins and 31mins
Running ability - I usually run 5K between 25mins and 27mins
Running ability - I usually run 5k in sub 25mins
I hereby confirm that I have read, understood and answered all the questions accurately and to the best of my knowledge*
I confirm that I wish to participate in this running club and realise that the participation in sessions is entirely at my own risk*
I should consult my own Doctor if suffering from any condition that may be aggravated by such activities*
I confirm I will consult with the Coach should I feel any pain, discomfort or feel I cannot participate in any of the exercises for any reason*
I confirm I have been given the opportunity to read and will adhere to the clubs 'Risk Assessment' and the clubs 'Rules and Regulations'*
